Payment methods and Shipping


PAYMENT METHODS


In order to facilitate your purchasing experience, we are pleased to accept several methods of payment.

A. Credit Cards/ Debit card: We are pleased to accept the following credit cards:

                  • Visa
                  • Mastercard
                  • American Express

It is important to note that when you order from Kemark.lk with a credit card, the payment will be taken at the time of the shipment. When placing your order with a credit card, you must ensure that the billing address matches the information (name, address, postal code) on your credit card statement. This precautionary measure is taken in order to protect our customers from unwarranted charges and credit card fraud.
We are using WEBXPAY payment gateway on our website to process the online payments.

B. Bank Deposit / Bank Transfer

You can pay for your product/s by depositing the total amount to our bank account or by doing a bank transfer using the online banking facilities provided by your bank. If you do a bank deposit, please take a photo of the bank deposit slip and e-mail it to us at [email protected] If you do a bank transfer, please e-mail us the screenshot of the transaction as well the transaction ID. Once we successfully receive the details, we will process your order.

C. Sampath Vishwa

If you are a Sampath Bank account holder who is having a Sampath Vishwa account, you can simply pay using the Sampath Vishwa payment option provided.

D. mCash

If you are Mobitel customer, you can use your mCash account to pay for your orders. You just need to have enough credit in your mCash wallet.
E. eZcash

If you are a Dialog customer, you can use your eZcash account to pay for your orders. You just need to have enough credit in your eZcash wallet.

F. CASH ON DELIVERY (COD)

Cash on Delivery is available as a payment method for the products value up to Rs.30,000 only. Eligible items will be indicated by the message “Cash on Delivery Available" on the product details page. There are no extra charges for Cash on Delivery. We only collect the amount printed on the invoice. (This service is available island wide)
A Kemark.lk team member will contact you to confirm the purchase order. You cannot cancel the order or refuse to pay when the product/s are delivered to your doorstep after your confirmation.


DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS AND ADVICE

Deliveries are made during business hours on Monday to Friday. Delivery time is generally 3 to 5 business days, however times could vary depending on the merchant/supplier and kemark.lk cannot be held liable for any delays.
To ensure prompt delivery someone must be present to sign for the parcel. If no-one is available to sign for the parcel, or if its incorrect address our delivery company will leave a contact card with instructions for customer to call and the parcel is returned to us. The cost of returning the product which will be passed on to the customer. We will contact you via the telephone number you have provided or via an e-mail to take further actions. 


UNDELIVERBALE PACKAGES

Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable from the courier company. The main reason for this is the incorrect address given by the customer and we will contact you via the telephone number you have provided or via an e-mail to take further actions.
Please remember there will be a re-delivery fee apply for this type of an issue. So double check the shipping and delivery address before you place the order to avoid any extra delivery charges.
We will try our best to contact you to double check all orders before processing the order once payment is completed online.

PACKAGE REFUSED BY GIFT RECIEPIENT

A gift recipient who isn't expecting a gift may refuse a package if they believe it's being delivered to them by mistake. So it’s better to let the recipient know that a surprise is on the way and also let us know this product is a gift to another person so that the delivery agent will know the recipient is not the person who placed the order. This is necessary for security and fraud reasons. Also a re-delivery fee will apply to deliver the gift again.


ILLEGIBLE ADDRESS

In rare cases address labels may become impossible to read in transit. If that happens a carrier will return the package to us.


DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If a package is damaged while it's on its way to you the carrier may return it without attempting delivery.
